Every big city needs police. Policemen work day and night to keep people safe. When someone robs a shop, they must find the person and arrest him. The man may then go to prison for a few years.
But police work is not only about danger. Policemen do much more. They help old people cross the road and give first aid to people who are hurt. Many children think they are real heroes and want to thank them.
每個大城市都需要警察。警察日夜工作，保護人們的安全。有人搶了商店，他們就必須找出那個人並逮捕他。那個人可能因此坐幾年牢。
但警察的工作不只和危險有關，他們做的事情多得多。他們幫老人過馬路，也為受傷的人做急救。許多小朋友覺得他們是真正的英雄，想向他們道謝。
