Rubber comes from a tall tree. Workers cut a thin line in the tree, and white juice comes out slowly. This juice is the material for many useful things.
Factories mix the juice with other things. Then they make balls, gloves and the soft part of your shoes.
Rubber is soft, but it is also strong. Water cannot pass through it, so it is good for rain boots. Today some factories use old rubber to make new roads.
橡膠來自一種高大的樹。工人在樹上割一道細細的線，白色的汁液就會慢慢流出來。這種汁液就是許多有用物品的原料。
工廠把這種汁液和其他東西混合。接著做成球、手套，還有你鞋子柔軟的那一部分。
橡膠很柔軟，但也很堅固。水無法穿透它，所以很適合做雨鞋。現在有些工廠會用舊橡膠來鋪新的路。
