Dear Ken,
There will be a food festival in my hometown next Saturday. It starts at ten in the morning and ends at five.
There will be more than forty small shops. You can try beef soup, steamed pork buns, and ice cream made with fresh milk. Everything is cheap, and some shops give free food to children.
My mother will cook her famous chicken. It is really good, and everyone likes it. Take the train to East Station, and I will meet you there.
Yours,
Peter

Many students in Taiwan drink sweet tea and eat candy every day. Doctors say this is not good for us. Sweet food can stop your hunger for a short time, but you get hungry again soon.
Too much sugar can make people fat, and it is also bad for the heart. It hurts our teeth, too.
Doctors do not ask us to give up all sweet food. They only ask us to eat less of it. Fruit is a much better choice than candy, because it has water and other good things in it.
Small steps can improve our health in a big way.
Forty-five students in Class 305 answered one question about snacks.
| Snack | Boys | Girls |
|---|---|---|
| Fruit | 9 | 13 |
| Cookies | 7 | 6 |
| Candy | 5 | 2 |
| Ice cream | 2 | 1 |
Each student chose only one snack. We will ask the same question again next year.
