Spring Art Show — Room 201
Ninety paintings are on the wall this year. Please do not touch them, and please do not bring any food or drinks into the room. You may eat snacks outside the entrance.
You may draw a circle on the paper by the door to pick your favorite painting. The winner will get a new set of brushes on the final day.
春季美術展——201 教室
今年牆上有九十幅畫作。請不要觸摸畫作，也請不要把任何食物或飲料帶進教室。點心可以在入口外面吃。
你可以在門邊的紙上畫一個圈，選出你最喜歡的畫作。得獎者會在最後一天得到一組新畫筆。
Dear Ben,
My brother is a musician. He takes private music lessons twice a week, and his band will play at the City Hall this Saturday. The show starts at seven, and each ticket is only forty dollars. He loves pop music, so most of the songs will be fast and loud.
My mother worries about the rain, so we will take the bus together. Please meet me at the entrance at six thirty. Yeah, I know that is early, but I want good seats.

Long ago, Confucius told his students that music was very important. He believed music could make people kind. Today many schools in Taiwan still think the same way.
At Green Hill Junior High, every class has an art and music program on Friday afternoon. Students may learn an instrument, sing in a group, or draw pictures with brushes and colors.
The school also plans to record the students' songs this year. Teachers say music and art play a big role in a happy school life.
很久以前，孔子告訴他的學生音樂非常重要。他相信音樂能讓人變得善良。今天台灣許多學校仍然這麼認為。
在青山國中，每個班級在星期五下午都有美術與音樂課程。學生可以學一種樂器、在團體中唱歌，或用畫筆和顏料畫圖。
學校今年也打算把學生的歌錄下來。老師說音樂和美術在快樂的校園生活中扮演重要的角色。
